FlatFrog Shows Off Its New Multitouch Device

FlatFrog Multitouch 3200One of the star manufacturers at last year’s ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) trade show, FlatFrog have recently been showing off their latest multitouch device: the Multitouch 3200.

About the size of an average desk, the 3200 can support up to 40 simultaneous touches and drags from both gloved and bare hands, allowing for mass collaboration. With a robust glass surface, the 3200 boasts full HD output via its LED display, which also has 400+ DPI accuracy and low jitter when icons and avatars are interacted with.

The device is platform independent,but does support Windows 7 and 8 via USB as well as Linux and OSX over Ethernet using the TUIO protocol.

Finally the 3200 can be mounted either vertically or horizontally and can even be integrated with high or low legs to create an interactive tabletop.
